Discharge of firearm at state bank in Narammala: female worker injured

A female worker (20) at a State Bank in Narammala has been injured when an accidental discharge of a firearm occurred in today morning.

The firearm was belong to a security officer at the bank. The Police said that the security officer was arrrested and is being questioned.

According to the Police the bullet has grazed her stomach and caused minor injuries.

She is currently being treated at Kurunegala Teaching Hospital.
