Assualting student: HRCSL summons Royal College principal

Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) has summoned the Principal and two teachers to record a statement on an incident of assaulting a student.

In a statement, thw HRCSL said a complaint has been filed with them with regard to the incident and according to that two teachers have beaten a Grade 11 student.

The student had admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for treatement.
