Second Monkeypox case confirmed in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka confirmed its second Monkeypox case, Health Ministry today (9) said.

Accordingly, Sri Lankan who returned from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been diagnosed as the second monkeypox case reported in Sri Lanka.

The patient is recieving treatments from IDH, Angoda.

The first Monkeypox case was also confirmed from a youth who returned from Dubai.
