Budget speech: Green light to export cannabis?

President Ranil Wickremesinghe today proposed to establish a committee to look into the possibilities on manufacturing cannabis for exporting.

He said the proposed committee will look into export cannabis only.

However, the President did not say anything on legalizing cannabis in the country.
