‘Bonus’ for public on next Independent Day

The public will be given the opportunity for to visit the national parks, entertainment parks, and botanical gardens for free to celebrate 75th Independence Day that falls on 4 February next year.

The Cabinet has approved the proposal of President Ranil Wickremesinghe with regard to this.

Apart from the free passes to the parks, a cut down of 50% from the tickets will be provided for movies in cinemas throughout the
country.
