LG Election 2023 postponed again

Local Government Election 2023 is postponed once again due to the Government not providing funds to hold the Poll.

Accordingly, the election will not be held on 25 April as gazetted earlier.

The election was originally scheduled to be held on 9 March.

The EC said date for the election will be decided based on a court order, or based on the provision of funds.
