Anura Priyadarshana Yapa Arrested Over Financial Fraud 

Former Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) this evening in connection with a financial fraud case. 

According to the police, the case involves the alleged misappropriation of Rs 6.1 million intended for flood relief funds. Further investigations into the matter are underway.
