Cabinet approves land to Yohani

The Cabinet has approved to allot a portion of land in Battaramulla to Sri Lankan singing sensation Yohani Diloka De Silva.

The proposal regarding this was presented by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Accordingly, a 9.68 perch land located at Robert Gunawardena Mawatha in Battaramulla will be alotted to Yohani De Silva.

The Government said popular singer Yohani Diloka de Silva, who brought international fame to the country, has been nominated for esteemed by various parties as well as in Parliament.

The allocated land, which belongs to the Urban Development Authority (UDA), is adjoining the lands leased to members of the 1996 World Cup-winning cricket team on a 99-year lease basis.
