CEB Announces Island-wide Power Cuts for Two Days 

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has announced that island-wide power outages will be implemented on Monday (10) and Tuesday (11).

According to the CEB, power cuts will occur for one and a half hours between 3:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on both days.

The disruptions will be carried out in phases, with different areas being assigned to specific zones  to manage the electricity supply efficiently.

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has granted approval for the CEB to implement power cuts today and tomorrow across four designated time periods.
