Imthiaz Bakeer Markar Resigns as SJB Chairman

Former MP Imthiaz Bakeer Markar has stepped down from his position as the Chairman of Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB). Sources confirm that he has sent his resignation letter to the party leader and the Secretary General.

While he has resigned from the chairmanship and all other posts within the party, Bakeer Markar remains a member of the SJB.
