MP Archchuna Clashes with traffic Police in Anuradhapura

MP Ramanathan Archchuna has been involved in a heated situation with traffic police officers in the Rambewa area of Anuradhapura today (21) morning while he was on his way to Parliament.

The incident took place when the MP’s vehicle, reportedly using ‘VIP lights’ and obstructing other vehicles, was stopped by officers on traffic duty.

The police have requested the MP’s identity card and driving license, but he has refused, leading to further tension.

The MP was seen verbally abusing the officers as they informed him of his violation of traffic laws.
