Rumours about my citizenship are false: Diana Gamage

State Minister of Tourism Diana Gamage said the rumors about her citizenship is false.

Speaking to weekly newspaper, she said if anyone has doubts about her citizenship can go to the Court.

Meanwhile, Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU) Leader MP Udaya Gammanpila recently alleged Gamage is not a Sri Lankan citizen, but a British citizen.

A complaint has been filed with regard to passport, birth certificate, and National Identity Card (NIC) Gamage. Accordingly, the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court last week issued notice to the CID) to submit facts related to the investigation on 10 November.
