Woman Disguised as Lawyer smuggled Firearm to Assassinate Ganemulla Sanjeewa in Court

In a shocking revelation, police have confirmed that a woman disguised as a lawyer was involved in smuggling a firearm into the Hulftsdorp Court complex, which was used in the fatal shooting of Ganemulla Sanjeewa earlier today.

According to Police Spokesperson SSP Buddhika Manatunga, the weapon was cleverly concealed inside a hollowed-out copy of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Once inside the courtroom, the assailant, also dressed as a lawyer, retrieved the gun, approached Sanjeewa while he was on the witness stand, and shot him before fleeing the scene.

The female accomplice played a crucial role in the crime by bringing the hollowed-out book into the court.

Following the shooting, both the gunman and his accomplice escaped through the main entrance.
