Yoshitha Granted Bail

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has granted bail to Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa. He was in remand custody under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

Bail was granted under two surety bonds of Rs. 50 million each, following a detailed review of the case by Colombo Additional Magistrate Manjula Ratnayake.
